TTF Athlete Aziza
Chambers is a 2008 USAT Team Member. The
selection camp for the athletes was held Sept. 10-14 in
Colorado Springs, Co at the Olympic Training Center. Aziza
is apart of the sixteen team members to compete at the Pan
Am Championships in Puerto Rico October 3-5. Master
Christina Bayley
will also be in Puerto Rico as a USAT Coach.
TTF Athlete Aziza Chambers returns from her trip to
Belgrade, Serbia as US Collegiate Team Member. Aziza fought
in the World University Championships held July 16-20. Aziza
met the eventual gold medalist from Korea first. Korea
went up early, but Aziza hung tough and worked through all three
rounds, with the final score being 6-(-1).
Master
Christina Bayley coaching Athlete Development Camp in
Colorado Springs, CO
A
total of 39 athletes, ages 12-22 from 19 states, are
taking part in the 2008 Athlete Development Camp being
held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs from
June 6-9. The camp is being led by the National Team
Coaching staff which includes Jean Lopez, Juan Moreno,
Sherman Nelson, Liz Evans, Christina Bayley and Eui Lee. During
the camp the athletes are participating in physical
conditioning, sport-specific training, film study and
Taekwondo discussion, as well as a meet and greet with the
U.S. Olympic Team. Master Bayley pictured in top row.
US Collegiate Team Trials, Denver, CO
Aziza Chambers
won a spot on the US Collegiate Team. Aziza will fight at
the World University Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade, Serbia July
16-20.

Collegiate Nationals, Stanford, CA
Aziza Chambers
won 2nd place at the Collegiate Nationals to qualify for the
US Collegiate Team Trials, May 17th in Denver, CO.

TTF and broadcast a story about Team TTF athlete Tyler
Knittel-McDavid. Tyler secured his Light Heavyweight spot on the
USAT Junior Team. The
20-member team will compete at the World
Junior Taekwondo Championships in Izmir, Turkey, May 8-11.
