Weapons

The Weapons Program at Total Taekwondo and Fitness can enrich your practice in the martial arts by engaging in training with weapons.  As we train in Taekwondo, we learn how to move our bodies through various techniques: blocks, strikes, and stances. 

Through practicing with a nunchuk, bo staff, and sword we learn how to make the weapon an extension of our body, and, through this, an extension of the many Taekwondo techniques with which we are already familiar.

In the Weapons Program we practice Basic Techniques, Forms, and Self-Defense.  Regular attendance and progress in skill mastery with the weapons are recognized with patches and skill-level chevrons.
